Friday morning we had him dressed and ready in his BOO shirt (he looks like such a little boy now, doesn't he? Where did the baby go?!)
He wore this shirt to school and we later changed for the festivities at the Pizza Hut offices. Grandma Blick came in for a visit and to spend the holiday with us and I know they both enjoyed each other's company. Noah went as a golfer and it was very difficult to get him to wear his hat or hold his clubs. Most people still understood what he was so that was good.
Once he saw the balloons, it was hard to get him to focus on anything else. He had a rough time of it at the event.
He did really well with throwing the bean bags - he's definitely got a good arm on him!
I think he would have gotten the ring toss too if it had been on the floor.
He was a happy camper once he won the fish, as noted by his smile here. We went out for Mexican that night and whenever there is music playing, he loves to bop his head along. I tried to get video of it, but he always stopped when the camera was rolling!
Saturday was a calm, relaxing day. He and grandma took a nice stroll while Mike and I did some housework and relaxed. That evening we headed over to Uncle Matt's before arriving at the McWilliams residence for some fun with the kiddos, dinner and then trick or treating.
Uncle Matt spoiled Mr. Noah with all sorts of goodies! You can see him in the car with one of the fun toys.
Karen really did an amazing job for all of the kids - and there were several at her place! They have a beautiful backyard with everyone congregated and you can see by the following pictures that Noah always had something to do! She had toys to play in, art to create, pumpkins to decorate, the list goes on and on!

Finally, nightfall came and it was time for trick-or-treating. At this point, there were six kiddos left and they all found a seat in a wagon. Noah LOVES the wagon. Here, he's riding with Callie, one of Olivia McWilliam's friends. He was feeling pretty good and pretty special.
At first we didn't think Noah would take much interest in trick-or-treating. He didn't want to hold his bag and certainly didn't want to get out of the wagon. It was so great going with some older kids, because as soon as he saw what they were doing, he was more than happy to join in the festivities.
This was the scene most of the evening and it was so cute! Everyone thought he was adorable. As we got later into the evening, he didn't like people reaching down to his bag for fear they were taking something out of it, so he preferred to receive his candy in his hand, then he would proceed to put it in the bag. Just adorable!
The later it got, the more tired he got and I carried him most of the way. Here he is doing one of his favorite things - Eskimo kisses. My sweet little love bug (then he progressed to honk my nose - his next favorite thing).
Sunday was a day for Noah to run around with the ladies, doing some errands while Mike played a soccer game. We celebrated Mom's birthday a day early with dinner and cake that night. Noah had such a wonderful weekend with Grandma, he had difficulty saying goodbye that evening. Tears came in a rush but luckily it was bedtime and he was able to fall asleep a short while later.
What a fun and enjoyable Halloween weekend we had. I know it's only going to get crazier as the years progress but it's moments like these that just make parenting fun. Hope everyone had a safe and happy Halloween!
