Mike and I had a rough weekend. After Ian got his shots last week, he seemed to have developed a cold. It keeps his nose stuffy and he had trouble sleeping. I think between the two of us, we were up with him 4 times Sat night-Sunday. We would trade off times to get up and the first time I took him, I noticed he was on his back. I thought it was odd that Mike would lay him down like that, but then figured he was trying something new. I got him back to sleep, then laid him down again. Noah had climbed in to our bed at that point, so I figured I would just sleep in his bed. Ian starts crying maybe 30 minutes later, so I go back to check on him. Lo and behold, he's on his back! I KNOW I laid him on his tummy...so, in my brilliance, by using deductive reasoning, I have determined that Ian is now capable of rolling from his stomach to his back!
So, when I informed Mike of my great discovery, he looked at me and says, "yes, I know, I figured that out earlier." Well, gee thanks for telling me. So, anyway, now Ian is constantly waking himself up because he rolls over and then decides he doesn't like it. We need to get this kid to figure out how to roll back on to his stomach and quick before we die from exhaustion. In hopes of filling his belly a bit more before bed, we're going to start trying cereal at night. Our baby is growing so fast!!
As for our other "baby", Noah just had his 3 year check up and I'm happy to report he gets an A+ for development! He's currently 34.4 lbs (75%) and 37.3" (50-75%). He was a little pill for the doctor, but I guess that's normal for a 3 year old.
This weekend is the traditional St. Patty's Day parade. We are planning to take the boys. I'm not sure how Ian will do, but I'm sure Noah will love it! We also have 2 birthday parties this weekend for Noah so we will have our hands full with things to do. Did I mention we miss Aunt Dana?!
That's all for now (but isn't that enough?)
Love to all,

All About Ian - He's 4 mos. today!
Today started off interesting. Mike and I didn't get to bed until late (after 11:30) so we were beat. At 2am, I hear Ian crying. I find he's got his arm caught in between the crib rails. Once I free him and pick him up, he falls right back to sleep. I head to bed. At 5am, I hear more crying from Ian. I know he can't be hungry. As I head up the stairs, half asleep, I encounter a completely naked Noah. I asked what he was doing and he informed me that he peed. I yell for Mike and proceed to Ian's room. Ian had his arm stuck AGAIN. Freed and back to sleep. As for Noah, apparently he peed through his pull up and decided he'd take it upon himself to strip down on the stairs, then come get us. Mike was able to get him cleaned up but of course, Noah wanted to sleep in our bed. Fine, fine. Can we just get some sleep already!
I was able to sleep a little longer today as Ian had his 4 month check up. You may or may not be surprised to hear that Ian weighed in at 18 lbs, 2 oz. That would put him in the 97%, his head is also 97%, while his height, at 25.3" is only in the 75%. That's my little butter ball!!!
Baptism weekend was beautiful. Noah was a good little trooper and Ian was an angel. We had a lovely time with family! Noah was so sad to see family go and still asks when the next visitor will be coming. Here are a few pictures of the beautiful day.
And before I forget, Noah has been steadily improving at soccer. He has actually started participating more, doing the drills and listening to the coach. He's still not crazy about playing with the other kids, but we have confidence he will get there. Aunt Megan was able to go with him to see him play and I think he enjoyed having her there. He had a great time bunking with Aunt Megan too and was so sad to see her go. He can't wait for her next visit!
Noah's 3 year check up is Monday so I'm sure I'll have an update then as to how he's growing. :-)
Hope everyone has a great weekend!
Cheers,
The Reichert family

Our beautiful family!
Ian's Godparents, Megan Reichert and James Graves
We were so fortunate to have Fr. Tom baptize both our boys (just at different churches!)
Dessert!
Not only did we have all Grandparents in, plus my aunts and uncles, Aunt Judy, Godfather Uncle Jim, Aunt June and Uncle Leroy, along with my cousin Jamie and her husband Jon, joined us for the festivities. We were so blessed to have so many loved ones with us. We missed Uncle Ryan, but know he was there in spirit with us.
After the ceremony, we enjoyed lunch and games at our house. Uncle Jim brought Corn Hole, which gave us hours of enjoyment! Dad and Mike were unstoppable! I think Al and Jim got the best of them a few times, but they hold the record as reigning champs. I demand a rematch at some point!
We had planned to re-celebrate Noah's birthday with the cute cake, unfortunately I had it setting on a counter where we have had ants. Needless to say, when we opened the box, there were swarms of them. GROSS! Such a disappointment, but it was probably good Noah never saw the cake to begin with. I did need a picture for posterity.
