He absolutely loves to be outside, regardless of the temperature. Wednesday night when grandma got in, she got conned into taking Noah on a wagon ride where he could look at the neighborhood lights. He had a blast!
Thursday night the family went to Christmas mass. Here are a couple of pictures before the service.
Noah and his Godmother, Dana
We were also able to get in a little dancing this evening. Another one of Noah's favorite activities!
Church was rather interesting- we got halfway through the service when the fire alarm began to flash and sound. Everyone froze for a moment, even the priest. People slowly started to exit the building when the priest asked someone from the back of the church for an update. It turns out there were so many people in the building, someone accidentally leaned against the fire alarm which caused it to go off. It made for an interesting service to say the least!
Noah didn't want to go to bed that night but when I asked him if he wanted Santa to come, to which he answered yes, I then explained he had to go to sleep before he would visit. He quieted down right away and quickly fell asleep. That evening, Santa was very busy putting together Noah's Christmas gifts. It was a late night for all as we prepared for his arrival.
Christmas morning came very early for Noah. He woke up at 4:30 and we were able to put him to bed with us for another 2 hours. 6:30 wasn't much better so we got the folks up and brought Noah out to see what Santa brought. His reaction was priceless!
(see the attached link to view his expression - too big to include - be forewarned, it's really dark!).

He didn't know where to go, seeing all of the wonderful toys! The race track was first, then the , the table with colors, THE SLIDE, the popper and the drum!
The gift opening from the family commenced after we were able to get Dana and Ryan up. Noah wasn't sure what to make of this talking Elmo. He was a little afraid of it at first but slowly warmed up.
Noah was thrilled with all of his gifts but the look on his face when he saw his gift from Uncle Ryan was priceless!

He got a 3-in-1 trike and after he got on, we all had to take turns driving him around the house. It was too cold to go outside so we all accommodated him until we were worn out.

Noah enjoyed playing with his track from Grandma and Grandpa Reichert. Its been a great source of entertainment!
After a full morning of opening gifts, eating lots of food, and playing with toys, he was tuckered out! He rested with grandma for a while and then with mommy.
We thought he might miss his time with Uncle Matt and Aunt Emily but fortunately he woke up in time to open his gifts!

That evening Mike and I had my aunt, uncle and cousins over for Christmas dinner and some game time. It was a wonderful holiday all around!

The weather was pretty cold and miserable so we tried to stay inside and keep warm as much as possible. Mom and I got out some on Saturday to check out the sales. When we got home, Mike, Ryan, dad and Matt went to play some Top Golf. Noah really enjoyed his time with Uncle Ryan. Of course, he was someone who would play with him and showered him with lots of attention!
And as always, Noah is full of hugs and love. My boy is so precious!
Later that night, dad, Ryan and I went to see The Blind Side. What a wonderful movie!!
Sunday Ryan and Dad both had to head back to their respective homes. We were able to get a few more pictures with everyone.
We had a wonderful Christmas holiday and hope everyone else did as well. Lots of love and blessings to all! Have a very safe and Happy New Year.
See you in 2010!
Love,
Corri, Mike and Noah
