They just bought a house and will be moving in October so we're looking forward to going back for a visit but taking Noah with us next time.
Saturday we had a long day. We had to be dressed and ready to go for lunch at 1p. Then it was off to Sony Studios for the taping of our Pizza Hut P'Zone Chowlenge, hosted by Spike. The premise was an eating contest between Major League Eating Champs, Joey Chesnut and Takaru Kobiashi. Kobiashi finished off 5 3/4 P'Zones in 6 minutes. They are a pound each and a lot of food. You can see Kobiashi in the red. He's a little guy and has a 6-pack to boot. I couldn't believe how much he could eat. We were very pleased with the event itself and had a ton of press - the Chowlenge will actually be folded into Spike's Guy's Choice awards, which will air 6/21. The GCA's is "all things guy" which we attended after our Chowlenge.
Blythe (in the red) is our Ad Manager, Chris (tall one in the back) and myself, were the PH folks who worked on the event.
We had fabulous seats (they were ushering in the celebs right in front of us!) and we saw big names like Brad Pitt, Edward Norton, Ben Stiller, Mel Gibson, Halle Barry, Clint Eastwood, to name a few.
We stayed out way too late (which you have to do when you are child-free) and caught a noon flight on Sunday to get home.
You might be wondering, where was Noah for all of this? Well, I have the best mom ever who came in to watch him for the weekend! She and my sister kept him busy and exhausted. :-) We were sure happy to see him when we got home and I think he was happy to see us as well.
It's already off to a busy week - hence the delayed post. However, I'm looking forward to my summer Friday and the weekend already!
The heat has officially arrived in Dallas - pool days here we come!
Love to all,
Corri, Mike and Noah
