Saturday was a busy day for us - Mike got a bunch of yard work done while I spent some time cleaning out the closet and preparing some things for Good Will. Noah was having such a wonderful time, he opted not to take a nap. By the evening we had a very cranky boy! We went to my cousin Jamie's for game night and wine. We had a wonderful time despite our exhausted son. He was so tired but insisted on being around the people and the good times. That must be why he napped so well on Sunday! Here he is passed out in mom and dad's bed. He still won't nap in his own bed so we'll take it wherever we can!
After nap time we enjoyed a snack then headed to the park while Mike left for his soccer game.
This was Noah's first time at the park (and on the slide) and he had a grand ole time! There were lots of kids to watch and dogs to chase. The video attached is one where Noah has spotted a dog and wants to touch it. The woman was nice enough to let Noah pet her but of course he wouldn't stop after she had to be on her way. He began following the dog. He's a pretty smart kid. There was a lip on the playground which he couldn't get over. He found the spot where it opened onto the grass and tried to go after the dog. He was not happy with Mommy when she put a stop to it!
Going on safari!
Doggie!
I want doggie!
The park must have worn him out because he was out like a light by 6:45 tonight! Must have been making up for all the lost sleep yesterday!
Looking forward to a short week - we're headed to Wichita on Thursday to attend my Godson's First Communion on Saturday. Can't wait to try out the new car for the drive!
Have a great week and hopefully Spring has sprung where ever you are!
Love to all,
Corri, Mike and Noah

It was so great to see you last week!
ReplyDelete...and AWWWW - poor Noah - you can bring him over to play with Buddy any time (he's done very well with the few kiddos he's been around so far and any additional exposure wouldn't hurt...now we're just working to break him of random barking when he's excited because Baby Shoup probably won't care much for that when he/she arrives)
